I find it quite inappropriate and suggestive when the Fillies dance to the "O" song that the band recites. 

The "O" song?? The director chooses the music unless it was a band selection, but I don't think so.

I've stated this before, the director loves the hootchie cootchie stuff. People need to speak up if it's innapropriate, or there's no stopping her. Send an email to the principal with your thoughts, especially if your DD is NOT on the team. The team mothers are afraid to speak up but there are many that probably agree with you.. 

Well, It is not the song choice, it is the suggestive nature of the dancing that the Fillies partake in. I find it repulsive. 

I was gonna say...the "O" song is pretty basic stuff...LOL!

It's the kids yelling: "oh oh oh, oh oh!" to the drums. Nothing suggestive about that.

I've never noticed what the fillies do during that time. I'll have to look next time. Aren't they in the stands at that point? 

Let the principal know. Believe me, the director thinks anything goes b/c dance is an "art"...and she milks it for all it's worth. If people say nothing, she does whatever she pleases. Pressure from parents, especially not on the team, carries a lot of weight. 

It is a horrible influence on the little kids that attend the football game. It will take them down one by one.

I used to work in a bank here in Kingwood and the loan officer I worked for referred to them as the "whore corp".... 

They've had that nickname for nearly 20 years. 

Saw them Friday night. And they were amazing. They had on full length very sparkly body suits. And their routine was flawless. The size of their group makes them very striking. I really enjoyed their performance.

The Fillies are pretty impressive. They are way better than other dance teams out there.

Fillies are AMAZING. they just need to work on their reputation and the parents need to man up and tell the director that the dance are inappropriate sometimes and they would be the total package. 

During the "O Song" the Fillies are in the bleachers goofing around just like the band. Please find something real to worry about! lol

The fillies have been a great dance team for many years. The band is absolutely amazing and I love that they are still military-style; so much more impressive. However, if the fillies are using inappropriate choreography I would like to be able to email the principal. My oldest will be there before I know it! Does anyone have a video they can post?

Yeah, ok, they are extremely talented, but I'm starting to see a pattern here. This is the "Satisfaction" song they're dancing to. Any guesses on what the meaning of that song is?
