I've been defending a person for years who I now believe stole from me, and possibly others on here- she was arrested a couple of days ago for grand theft, (over $26,000.00 over a 2 year period, and returned some of the items, after admitting to the crime- the pawn broker is also a witness to the plaintiffs, saying she brought him things for years-we know her as blue herron-

wasn't she the one her mom was warning everyone about, or am I thinking of someone else? 

Good grief. Was she ever even sick? Or was she just that desperate? 

It was her daughter MA that was warning about her.

This is really, really sad. Not just the stealing, and that's bad enough, but stealing from people who are kind enough to employ you and trust you to come into their home.

Some of you were indeed right in your feelings of not trusting her, shenanigans were definitely occurring.

Be careful who you let into your home. Check references from other people. 

I'm sure the daughter's just as bad- I told my dh he was wrong, because he kept saying she stole a brand new speaker still in the box! my new suede boots went missing- God only knows what she took- she always told me I was the only person who was nice to her-

I had items missing after the first and only time she cleaned my home. Just some hair straightening heat spray of my daughter's and a new bottle of body spray from Bath and Body Works.

Tat, I am so sorry. I know you wanted to trust her and it sucks she did this to you.

Definitely. Pretty wild how that works out. 

Documents show she was confronted by a customer when her wedding ring was missing. They told her to return it or they'd call the cops. The next day a bag was left at the house with multiple items that were stolen, with an apology note. Cops were called. The returned items and note are pretty strong evidence. She stole plenty of stuff and was a regular customer at a pawn shop, according to documents. 

Don't beat yourself up. You sound like a trusting person that got used. Again, sorry this happened. 

I didn't file a report- there are court papers I saw, and there's an arrest record from 2/14 or 2/17- 

according to documents.

Sorry Tat. If it makes you feel better she duped me for plumbing work on a Sunday night. I am ok with it I thought I was doing a good thing for someone down and out. 

I think anyone who knows how to look it up and knows her name can find it-
