They have bacon kolaches. Yes you heard me! Yum.

I like the sausage, cheese, and jalapeno ones. They also have the "real" kolaches with fruit or cream cheese filling.

A rainy Friday morning is the perfect time to pick some up! She has coffee too.

I've been saying I wanted to try the Kolache House, so this morning DH and I went. I got the cream cheese; yum. 

Do they deliver? I don't want to get wet. 

They dont deliver or have a drive-thru window. I have suggested that they add curbside service for call ahead orders (with a min.)

You must have been the couple from KU that was there shortly before I went. I was there at 9:30 and told the lady about KU. She said someone else from KU had just been there, a nice couple. So must have been you.

Her kolaches are indeed very good. Bought enough to leave some with my patient and another box to take to the lake with us.

She WAS nice...very nice. We need to keep her and her business in our prayers....we need more good home-grown businesses here in the Kingwood area.

I never had a kolache. 

SiFi, it's like eating the delicious yeast rolls from Texas Roadhouse only stuffed with a meat such as sausage link or ham, then add a little cheese. Or some sort of fruit inside.

They also have apple or cherry turnovers. They looked really good so I'll get some next time.

Thanks, Melanie. I thought it was in that area. My only problem with that area of NP is everyone is always driving like a bat out of Hades and those businesses are so close together. Hopefully no one hits me why I drive "granny like" trying to find the business. Can't wait to try out their kolaches. :-) 

It's on the north side of the road so stay in the right lane and you will be okay.
