The mister and I are going to Vegas for a few days this summer - any shows we can't miss?

We plan to just stay on the strip and aren't renting a car, so needs to be something in walking distance. And not Celine Dion.

OMG they have a zombie burlesque show?

That's so awesome.

Zumanity. It is hilarious, and can be quite naughty ;)

Nothing like a scantily clad zombie. As long as its females, it will be fine. lol

The photos were of male zombies, SSFG!

Has anyone done the CSI Experience?

I think we are going to see Zumanity - I have heard great things.

You'll like zoomanity since it fits in with your open-minded-sexually persona. It's fun, a little cheesy in parts and there's a totally buff midget that flies over the audience!

Blue Man Group - very intense, been twice.

Amazing Jonathan - laughed so damn hard I fell outta my chair. Would definitely see again.

Rita Rudner - was ok. Humor was very clean; not nearly as funny as Amazing Jonathan.

Amazing Jonathan

Not doing a dedicated Vegas show anymore. Doing road shows only.

We love fun and cheesy!

Blue Man Group - very intense, been twice.

Can you describe intense? I have always said I wanted to see them, and I can't even explain why - I mean, I know virtually nothing about them, so why should I want to attend their shows?

I can only seem to find the really funny comedians on Youtube. Every live comedy show we have been to was a disaster. I let one of my husband's friends take us to a comedy club where a hypnotist was and it took every bit of strength not to walk out - dumbest thing I ever saw, but apparently, I was definitely not in the majority. I didn't get it.

We really enjoyed Absinthe. Naughty, but funny and entertaining!

We saw Penn and Teller and they were fantastic! They also go outside the Theatre after every show and sign autographs and take selfies with your phone and they stay until everyone sees them that wants to. They were awesome.

We then saw Blue Man group and it was AMAZING, it was funny and crazy and my husband and I both loved it. There is not a bad seat in the theatre.

We also went to Brad Garretts Comedy club, if Brad is there do NOT sit up front because his whole bit is insult comedy to the ones in front. The headliner was awesome and it was a lot of fun.

I bought Penn and Teller online before we went because it was out first night but I got the other show tickets from the yellow same day discount ticket booths that are everywhere and saved almost 175 doing so. They have all the shows at discount rates.

Have fun! Bring tennis shoes, there is a lot of walking! We used Lyft for some awesome deals instead of cabs or uber.

Is Jersey Boys a show? I have seen the Broadway show - LOVED IT. I even cried with my dad! It was so good.

Holling Vincoeur --- 9 years ago -
