robbery- it must have been in the afternoon- I believe a robbery is when the location is inhabited- 

Incorrect. Robbery is a crime against a person. It is when you use force, threat of force, a weapon (real or implied) to steal someones property from them. There is no "attempted robbery" in Texas. Even if you don't get a penny from the victim, if did the above, its a robbery.

Burglary is a crime against property. Houses, cars, buildings get burglarized. I hate it when the news says someone's house was robbed.

Robbery= crime against person
Burglary= crime against property.
