1- A good foundation company. I know for a fact I have foundation issues that need to be repaired.

2- A good painter. Once the foundation is repaired, I am going to need the inside of it painted.

3- Someone to allow me to borrow their power sprayer so that I can power wash the outside of my home and make it look purty!

4- A basic handyman that can fix minor things that I have no clue how to fix.

5- A referral to someone that can help me fix my patio tiles, once the foundation people tear it up to fix the foundation!

6- A good plumber to help with some plumbing issues!

Hey Crazy! I can help you with most of the stuff on the list. I have a great handyman who does #2,4-6. He has helped me for 12 years and remodeled 2 homes for me. Very reasonable - $25 an hour for small jobs. If he stays all day then it is less. If he comes for 7 hours he has me pay for 5 hours - less than $20 an hour. Really large jobs you might have him give you a bid. He is great with plumbing and $25 an hour sure bets the $80 an hour a plumber charges. He is a wiz with my very old sprinkler system and keeps it going.

BTW he does a very special faux textile on walls like you find on the million dollar homes and a faux brick wall treatment which he did on one wall in every bedroom in the house. Then he installed canned light or a portrait light on each brick wall and they are beautiful. If you are interested he can bring you by my house to see them.

There is an equipment rental place on the 59 feeder in Porter. They should have a power washer you can rent, and may even know handymen too.
