This aftermath of this channel 11 investigation is going to get ugly.

I think Wayne Dolcefino (sp) may have moved out of the most hated reporter spot. 

I haven't followed the story- but I think that "Mr. X" loves to stir up trouble!!

Haven't read the article, but it looks to me like Sassy is still hating on the black and brown people. 

It was just on Channel 11. The reporter did a story about how Quanell was asking people to pay him for his services and that many people thought that Quanell was cheating them.
There will now be an investigation by other activists. Sounds like it will get interesting. 

I must be living under a rock, because I had no idea that he has a white wife.

this is another person trying to stretch his 15 minutes of fame, in to decades-he's a hater, and a racist, and I hope he gets what he deserves-ugh-nobody needs an excuse to dislike him- 

That guy is a major douche. He stands up for minorities simply because they're a minority.

Translation: I don't like Quanell, because I think he is a con. However, because he is black, I feel the need to point out that I am NOT racist. I will do so by calling OTHER people racist so as to make up for the guilt I feel about disliking someone who is black. 

When I volunteered at the GRB for a week in the medical intake unit - I was horrified to see "x" and his entourage casually walk through the amazing, almost instantaneous "hospital' that was set up for the refugees. His "women", "wives", not sure of their relationship were dressed to the nines with beautiful headscarves and elaborate dresses. I was, as a volunteer, clad in jeans and a tee-shirt that had unfortunately seen better times. I was one of the people who took those shocked families to clean bathrooms, clean cloths, and medical care. "X" did none of this. As I was trying to clean the vomit of a baby off my jeans, he was lollygagging with the media telling them how horribly the evacuees were being treated. They were given prescription medication, glasses, contacts, etc. ON THE SPOT. They had nice blow up beds, showers, and access to all the clothes and food they needed. I WAS THERE. 

He is a good example of why so many people take on the racist opinion of all blacks. Sad. 

Whether he's legit or not, whether he has helped people or conned them we all know how our media loves to attack Muslims.

Self-described community activist Quanell X says television station KHOU’s investigations into claims he charges people for his services are part of a larger conspiracy to kill him.

From KHOU:

KHOU 11 News reported that some people seeking Quanell X’s help said that he wanted money upfront, sometimes thousands of dollars, and once it was paid, he did little to resolve their concerns.

“He’s a con artist,” said Hilda Pete, a mother who said she paid him a total of $9,000 to help prove her son innocent of murder.

Sandra Laday, who is a nationally-renowned activist, also said she had a disappointing experience when she asked Quanell X for help in finding answers about her son’s death.

Laday said she paid Quanell $600.

“I feel like I was taken advantage of,” she said.

In Monday’s radio interview, Quanell X said the broadcasts were actually part of a plot to kill him.

“This is bigger than people who are just unhappy with Quanell X,” he said on 97.9 FM, KBXX. “The plan is to inspire somebody who looks like me to make an attempt on my life.”

“What?” asked the radio host, who was open and supportive of his guest throughout the interview.

Quanell X went on to explain that there had been three assassination attempts against him in the last ten years, which he said authorities knew about, but none of them had been attempted by an African-American.

“But now this is to inspire my own people to turn against me,” Quanell X said.

He's with the Nation of Islam, a black Islamic community. They are not like the majority of Islam. They preach about segregation from the US for their own black-muslim community.

The media is attacking him for ripping off people who went to him for help. What were they expecting, a free ride? lol

It amazes me how very few people notice that they go after guys like this for ripping people off while our Government, Corporations, and Private banks have made it their Policy to rip off people and yet they choose QX to be the focus of a scandal? I will admit it has been nice seeing more and more coverage of who the real crooks are.

Lol? Yes, because reading, hearing, and seeing how he acts is me being told how to think, right? TV stations are just so awesome like that. 

Quannel X is a con man of the worst kind. It does it to people who are in need and are desperate and poor. He does nothing unless it benefits him. He loves the spotlight. He is offensive and he would sell anyone out if it got him 5 min on tv. I hope he gets exposed for who he really is.
