JUST AN FYI......I WAS ON KINGWOOD DR. VERY LATE LAST NIGHT AND SAW A COUPLE OF COYOTES NEAR HIGH VALLEY & KINGWOOD DR. INTERSECTION. THEY KEPT RUNNING ACROSS KINGWOOD DR. TO THE MEDIAN. I STOPPED, ROLLED DOWN MY WINDOW TO GET A GOOD LOOK AND THEY WERE DEFINITELY COYOTES. THEY ARE SO SCARED, THEY ACT LIKE FERAL DOGS. SO FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO LET YOUR DOGS GO OUTSIDE WITHOUT A LEASH TO POTTY LATE AT NIGHT....BE CAREFUL! ALSO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE OUTSIDE CATS, AND THEY END UP MISSING, I WOULD BANK ON A COYOTE GETTING THEM. THEY LOVE SMALL DOGS & CATS, IT'S AN EASY TARGET FOR THEM AND THEY ARE OPPORTUNISTIC HUNTERS!!

And they frequent all of Texas. Who knew?

Really, I met a cougar the other day :-P

Seriously, these guys are just doing what they do, if you let your animals (or kids) out late at night, don't be surprised if they turn up Coyote Poo.

I think it would be awesome to raise a coyote pup!

aftcg --- 13 years ago -

All, let your cats out at night. Please. But only in this neighborhood, not mine.

Has anyone ever analyzed why some people have a need to write in all caps?

A TWO SECOND ANALYSIS WOULD INDICATE THE POSTER DOES NOT FEEL LIKE USING THEIR SHIFT KEY INTERMITTENTLY AS REQUIRED TO DO WITH NORMAL TYPING.

Mabbers --- 13 years ago -

Or maybe a frantic attempt to drive home a point? :D

Susan Lucci --- 13 years ago -

it will be ok Nickel

I saw one of these on Thursday night at the intersection of High Valley and Hidden Lakes. Man,can these things run fast. At first we could not tell what it was but then figured it out. My kids joked that it was Chupacabra.

...And so it begins.

I saw a coyote this week, although not in Kingwood. I was on 179 in Arizona. The coyote walked across a double lane road in broad daylight. The car in front of us almost hit it. On the local news there was a report of a homeowner's dog that got attacked and survived. The coyote jumped over a bricked fence in the Phoenix area.

Beautiful Dogs.

I sure hope people in the area keep their animals in-there's been reports of so many strays, lately-please someone take in the chiwuhua!!!!!

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 13 years ago -

also, I hope no one hurts the coyotes-they were here first-poor things, they're just trying to find a place to live!

Ogre1 --- 13 years ago -

Hope Texas is putting out rabies vaccine laced bait for these guys.
