Here's my secret that is highly confidential and just may be worth millions.


1. Eat only natural living foods (fruits, veggies, nuts-basically rabbit foods) the first half of the day. You will consume no sugar, salt, chemicals or preservatives at least 50% of the time. Then eat moderately the rest of the day. Try to drastically
limit processed and fast foods.

2. Do some form of exercise 4 times a week.

Farm, Hunt and gather all your own food. No more trips to the grocery store. Farmer's markets are o.k., but you can only barter for goods, no cash!

you may need to learn to eat rat and pigeon for a while, but there are plenty of recipes online.

Not loaded but there is sugar in it. It's NOT the same sugar as the white processed stuff. It's natural. I have fruit for breakfast almost every day. I know it's a carb and all but if it grows and comes from the ground, it was meant to eat. Just don't eat too much.

Fruits are loaded with necessary nutrients.

If you love eating, nothing beats tasting it twice without being burdened by the added weight that full digestion brings.

Sugar is sugar, no matter if its fructose, maltose, sucrose etc. The advantage to fruit that it isn't empty calories, but its not sugar free as you first implied. Its not good for diabetics.

If you eat clean - no processed foods, no white sugar/flour - you won't be a slave to calorie counts.

Load up on salads - don't use processed dressings, make your own with balsamic vinegar, oil, apple cider vinegar, etc.

The pounds will come off and you will be eating more than you ever imagined.

This is true. I HATE counting calories. Eating clean allows you to eat more, but it is healthy food and as long as you are fairly active you should definitely lose weight.

Use My Fitness Pal to track what you eat and get a food scale. Weigh everything. Track everything. Limit your calories to 1200/day and add exercise. That is the only way to get permanent results. I lost over 80 lbs in 7 months this way.

Count calories and exercise. Burn what you eat. Calculate your Bmi/Bmr to determine the amount of calories you need a day.

Just make sure you burn more calories than you consume. You can eat whatever you want as long as you aren't eating more than your body needs.

Look up a BMI calculator and find out how many calories you need.

Limit your calories to 1200/day and add exercise. That is the only way to get permanent results.

This isn't accurate. If you go the route I suggest you should consume 500 calories less than your maintenance calories.

If you want to preserve muscle while you are working out and dropping weight I HIGHLY recommend reading the link I posted and spend some time doing the calculations.

No. ketoacidosis is a dangerous state. Ketosis is something completely different.

So, today my body has switched over to a state of ketosis and I am in fat burning mode. I am registering around 15-40 mg/dl on the ketone pee sticks. I have lost 3-5 lbs ish in the last 3 days.

I am keeping my protein intake around what my lean body mass is (I calculate 141ish lbs, so about 145g of protein daily). The rest of my calories comes from fat. So, 2775 maintenance calories minus 500 = 2275. 564 calories from protein and 1711 calories from fat.

I don't feel hungry. When I do I eat a tablespoon of butter and have some chicken or eggs or something. I'll let you know how it goes after this next week.

My diet consists of steak, chicken, sausage, eggs, bacon, butter, cheese, pork rinds, beef sticks, and did I mention cheese and butter??? Anything that has 0 net carbs.

And lots and lots of water.

Another thing, my glucose levels have stayed low. Yesterday when I was really hungry I tested my glucose and I was at 82. After eating a full meal and waiting about 30 minutes I retested and was at 86.

I haven't been over 100 since I started this diet change.
