We recently moved to the area and my kids are zoned to attend Shadow Forest. I hear great things about the school. My kids are finishing out the school year in their old school but I would like them to attend SFE next school year. Can someone give me some insight on the homework given? Our current elementary gives very little homework other than reading, which I found refreshing. Is it vastly different at Shadow Forest? Also if you have opinions on CMS, would love to hear them. We do love our current elementary but it feeds into a different middle school than CMS. 

My kids went to Shadow Forest. They enjoyed it. I don't recall the homework load being particularly excessive. Overall it was a good experience.
