Basically legalizing murder, if the victim is a baby.

SodaPopAndRitalin --- 79 days ago -

do any of you EVER research the lunacy you are defending?

Reading and comprehension is something conservatives will NEVER be accused of being proficient in.

The "pro-life" crowd cares ZERO about any life other than a zygote.
What they REALLY care about is controlling women, by any means necessary.

SodaPopAndRitalin --- 79 days ago -

Hope Trump can stop that POS

He can't stop his own POS behavior and lunacy.

Prolix Raconteur --- 79 days ago -

Man, you got that all backwards. Under the previous law, abortions in NY after 24 weeks were only allowed if the woman's life/health was in peril. The new law allows full term abortions. If that's your 21st century, you can keep it.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 79 days ago -

zygote

Translation = unborn American Citizen.

SodaPopAndRitalin --- 79 days ago -

The new law allows full term abortions.

There is literally no such thing as a "full term abortion." That is called birth.

You clearly haven't read the new law, you don't understand it if you have read it, or you're being intentionally disingenuous.

The measure will allow for late-term abortions at the discretion of a medical provider based on the viability of the fetus or if the woman's life or health is in danger. Period. There are no ifs, ands, or buts.

It is NOT an abortion free for all where a woman decides at 39 weeks she doesn't want to have a child. Stop being so dramatic and dishonest.

Translation = unborn American Citizen

And the life of the born American citizen? The woman whose life is in danger? The homeless, hungry child? Why don't you care about the living as much as you claim to care about a clump of cells?

We all know the answer - you consider woman to be arm pieces and broodmares.
Good thing there are far more intelligent people than you, and you don't get to decide what women do.
Stay in your lane, bob.

Well that clears one thing up....if it's a "birth" then something is alive, and if it's being extinguished, I guess that's called death.

Feel free to continue insulting each other

If the "fetus" is able to live then wouldn't it be called infanticide instead of abortion?

When are republicans going to start caring about the born?

SodaPopAndRitalin --- 78 days ago -

When are republicans going to start caring about the born?

Never.
In the US, there are approximately 400,000 children in foster care, 31,000 of them in Texas.
According to the most recent statistics, in Texas, there are nearly

300,000 reported cases of abuse and neglect
70,000 confirmed cases
20,000 removed from the home
The largest percentage of children are white and between the ages of 6-0

Not a single conservative here, that is anti-choice, is concerned about these children.

They bray about welfare, and any supportive measures to help the living, by saying that "welp, the women should keep their legs shut."

Again, since my previous post was deleted, they only care to control women's bodies and medical decisions.
They have NEVER cared about a child once it is born, and only pretend to care about a clump of cells to assuage their own ignorance.

sdanielmcev --- 78 days ago -

Or. Maybe they just care about the rights of unborn American Citizens.

This is a standard tactic of the left to insult you when they really can't argue their side. They just insult you.

BTW...when is the left going to care about the unborn children?

This double talk about no body "caring" about unwed/single/poor women and children is a total lie and falsehood. Many in the community, Christians as well, lol, care. They also assist them in a plethora of ways that amount to true assistance in rent, food and housing.

And JUST bc there are people who have kids and can't afford them or properly provide for them doesn't automatically mean people who DO care are responsible to take up the slack...Even tho it's those who DO care who often do.

Here's a list from ONE Google search seeking assistance: orgs helping unwed/poor/single mothers

Notice many are Christian charities???

Some of you lie for entertainment purposes obviously

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 77 days ago -

And on the flip side of the coin, not all women who elect to have an abortion are unfeeling monsters who enjoy killing babies- both sides have a tendency to paint with a wide brush stroke!

fuzz81 --- 77 days ago -

total lie and falsehood

You keep telling yourself that.

Does Flint have clean water yet?

I don't know. Why don't you ask the democrats who run the city if they have fixed their problem yet?

OrdinaryGuy --- 77 days ago -

I just saw and heard the democrat Gov of Virginia (a doctor) say this: (this is a quote) "The infant would be delivered, the infant would be kept comfortable, the infant would be resuscitated if that's what the mother and the family desired. And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother."

I would like to remind everyone he is talking about an ABORTION bill.

Well that clears one thing up....if it's a "birth" then something is alive, and if it's being extinguished, I guess that's called death.

I guess you haven't heard of still born. That's giving birth to a dead baby. Just to be clear.

I've read the new law and researched it. No one is going to be running around have late term abortions. It is for extreme, dire circumstances. Do you all understand what that means? Extreme, dire circumstances.

It is for nonviable fetuses. Do you all understand what that means? Nonviable.

From Biology-Online Dictionary | Biology-Online Dictionary. Definition. adjective. (1) Not viable; not alive or incapable of living, developing, or reproducing, as in a nonviable cell. (2) Incapable of independent existence, especially outside the uterus, used of an embryo, fetus or premature newborn.

It is also for extreme circumstances causing health risks to the mother. In the vast majority of cases this is discovered long before full term.

Let's use some logic here, folks. It is hard to imagine a woman carrying a pregnancy that long who does not want to carry to full term - and is devastated at termination- it’s like we give women no credit for what they are going through. I’m just stunned by how it is all being so twisted.

Let logic prevail for a change.

OrdinaryGuy --- 69 days ago -

Just curious what you think of the Virginia law. It didn't pass but what is your opinion on late term abortions.

SodaPopAndRitalin --- 68 days ago -

your opinion on late term abortions.

Late term abortions occur very, VERY rarely and are ALWAYS medically necessary to save the life of the mother or because the fetus is NOT VIABLE AND WILL NOT SURVIVE.

Since the right keeps braying about abortions happening up until the moment of birth, I ask you to provide PROOF of this - cite your source where any healthy woman has chosen, at 40 weeks, to abort a viable, healthy fetus.
Prove your claim.

OrdinaryGuy --- 68 days ago -

Since that can't happen because of the privacy laws that a stupid thing to ask for. Nobody can answer that not even the doctor who does one.

sUSAN COLLLINS IS A POOR POOR POOR EXCUSE FORA WOMAN! HER GOOSE IS COOKED.

Miss Understanding --- 65 days ago -

Collins, who is up for re-election in 2020, was pivotal to Kavanaugh’s narrow October confirmation to the court. All but one Democrat, Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), voted against Kavanaugh, in large part out of concerns that he would roll back abortion rights. Collins, who says she supports abortion rights, defended her vote by saying she believed he would follow Supreme Court precedent

but in one of his first vocal dissents he went against precedent. he is a total arsehole liar just like the orange alien who nominated him.

OrdinaryGuy --- 65 days ago -

You may want to start learning logical thinking yourself, first.

SodaPopAndRitalin --- 65 days ago -

So you literally have NO proof that women are aborting babies for the fun of it at 40 weeks. Noted.

It doesn't happen, and it's very concerning that you believe it does.

sdanielmcev --- 64 days ago -

but in one of his first vocal dissents he went against precedent.

Which precedent?

Prolix Raconteur --- 64 days ago -

Hey, there's a silver lining to the new abortion law in NY. Now the drunken wife beater who kills his pregnant wife and baby can only be charged with one murder, not two, like in the old days. So progressive!
