Lets pretend that its 2010. Obama has been in office for one year. During that time, hes spent 1/3 of it golfing, wasting millions of taxpayer dollars. He said he supports Chinas new president-for-life, and thinks we should try that here. He expresses admiration for Kim Jong Un and wishes the US people loved him the way North Koreas people love Kim Jong Un. Hes also under investigation for conspiring with Russia to interfere in his election for his benefit, with many members of his administration being arrested. Because of this, he publicly states that he has the right to pardon himself. It also comes to light that he paid off a porn star that he had an affair with, and has been accused of harassment by twenty women, including women who were underage at the time. He had to settle a fraud lawsuit immediately before taking office. What would you think of him?

The right already think Obama was a dictator, despite his having done exactly nothing unilaterally. Imagine if he actually acted as much like a dictator that Trump has. Theres no way the right would have accepted that. Yet Trump gets a pass, simply because hes a Republican. Why?

despite his having done exactly nothing unilaterally

I think you just answered you own question if you are brave enough to look in the mirror. EVERY president has done things with zero support from the opposing party.

jackass --- 6 years ago -

Your post presupposes that trump supporters are capable of objectivity...they aren?t.

False narrative. FAIL. That behavior began with the repugnants only when Obama was in office. We are just returning the favor these days.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Sounds to me like an attempt at justification of current dysfunction.

Judas --- 6 years ago -

Let's pretend that Trump has MAG instead of thrown it in the trash heap.

BREAKING NEWS
A lobbyist linked to Paul Manafort admitted to helping Russian and Ukrainian businessmen illegally buy tickets to President Trump?s inauguration."

Judas --- 6 years ago -

In guilty plea, American political consultant agreed he steered an illegal foreign donation to Donald Trump's inauguration
W. Sam Patten, who pleaded guilty Friday to failing to register as a foreign lobbyist, told prosecutors that he arranged for a straw donor to give $50,000 to Trump's inauguration in place of a Ukrainian businessman who was legally barred from contributing to the event.

RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA!

And in other news, Elvis is still dead.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

You guys are scraping the bottom of the barrel again to find something to complain about. You certainly can't complain about the economy, the unemployment rate, and the tax cuts.

jackass --- 6 years ago -

And no one is bestie...you?re a broken record.

txwareagle --- 6 years ago -

That behavior began with the repugnants only when Obama was in office.

Contrary to this opinion, partisan politics did not begin in 2009.

The false narrative is that any Chief Executive was bipartisan all the time.

Yep...a source who won't give his/her name. I call that a coward.

Except that disastrous Iran deal. By the way, you know why he did it unilaterally? Because he knew he couldn't get it through the Senate as required by the Constitution.

Absolutely agree. A gutless coward.

However, just for the sake of discussion lets assume there some level of credibility. What that tells me is that the political establishment that Trump campaigned against is not going to die easily and will do ANYTHING to keep their power. Further, that tells me that Trump has the political establishment running scared. They are afraid of more voter backlash against the establishment politician.

jackass --- 6 years ago -

Emp is on to something. If trump hadn?t been elected people like Manafort, Gates, Alex van der Zwaan, Flynn, Papadopoulos, Kushner, Junior, Stone, Bannon, Sessions, Carter Page, Wilbur Ross, JD Gordon, Tom Price, Steve Wynn, Rob Porter, Rinat Akmetshin, Felix Sater, Michael Cohen, etc., etc. would have never been exposed.
It is the one promise Trump has kept with the Democrats...he is draining the swamp!

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

.he is draining the swamp!?

One bucket at a time.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

he is draining the swamp!?

Exactly what is meant by "the swamp"?

I take it to mean establishment politicians form any party that have run this country for the last 100 years. Its Taminy Hall at the federal level. They all must go. Term limits.

jackass --- 6 years ago -

How do you get term limits?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

How do you get term limits?

Voters.

jackass --- 6 years ago -

They can vote all day long but it won?t result in term limits...so how do we really get them?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Voters have to elect ONLY candidates that support term limits and will put the bill forward and pass it.

jackass --- 6 years ago -

Such a creature doesn?t exist.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Well then the problem is us.

jackass --- 6 years ago -
