Interesting movie came out yesterday comparing Trump and Lincoln. It's at theaters.

DEATH OF A NATION Trailor

Jesus. What a load of trash

Not KU --- 6 years ago -

"Now the target of the Democrats is President Trump and his supporters. The Left calls them racists, white supremacists and fascists. These charges are used to justify driving Trump from office and discrediting the right "by any means necessary." But which is the party of the slave plantation? Which is the party that invented white supremacy? Which is the party that praised fascist dictators and shaped their genocidal policies and was in turn praised by them?"

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Debt is the new master. Only a few are free from it. Trump is a puppet for the GOP puppeteers.

Has anyone looked at the republican party ideas for when Eisenhower was running for office. Again. The more things change. The more they stay the same.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Emp, the Republicans disliked him from the get-go-

Thats right.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

That makes him independent and free to do what he can!

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Way, Way, Way off the mark.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

What does that make him, since nobody wants him??

My kind of guy.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

Has anyone looked at the republican party ideas for when Eisenhower was running for office.

You do know Eisenhower could have as easily ran as a Democrat, as they were courting him as well. And, Eisenhower was also the previous 'independent' president, so the comparison is apt. And that is a good.
Both parties changed dramatically during the sixties, but it didn't stick until Reagan.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Yes. The style over substance crowd will never like Trump. The results matter crowd may not like Trump (but many will) but they will return him to the WH in 2020 because the results are there.

Has anyone objective seen the movie yet? I plan on going tomorrow.

It's a shame DeSouza will keep getting peoples money. Like Alex Jones, it is all an act.

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

DeSouza will keep getting peoples money.

I saw an interview with him. He seemed pretty sincere.

Let me know how the movie is.

The majority of the republicans are just as bad as the democrats. They always promise change, they always say if we only had the majority we could do so much. Both parties have made so many deals with each other to get things passed, that the new stuff gets watered down. Trump doesn?t seem to care. He wants to do what?s best and he doesn?t care whose toes he steps on. Finally, someone who hasn?t been in Washington forever and doesn?t owe half the people there a favor.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 6 years ago -

Trump is the first president in as long as I can remember that is actually delivering on the promises he made.

I finally watched it. It was well researched and well produced by Denish D'Souza. I was surprised at the number of blacks and Latino's in the theater.

This is a short summary:

The Democratic Party was organized by Andrew Jackson, and championed slavery. The Democrats wanted to turn the United States into one big plantation. Like modern Democrats, they wanted a strong federal government in control of many things. Even then, the Democrats leaned toward socialism.

D'Sousa traveled to Munich, Germany Munich, and interviewed historians., They said the early Nazi?s studied Andrew Jackson and the Democratic party. They Nazi?s like the way the Democrats treated African-Americans.

Everyone knows Democrat Pary president FDR was friends with the Russian Mass-Murderer Stalin and even called Stalin Uncle Joe. It?s a historical fact that FDR agreed with giving control of East Europe to the Russians. But, history seldom mentions that FDR was also a friend of the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. FDR sent a group of U.S. representatives to study an emergency phenomenon, Facism. FDR?s representatives came back with very favorable reports and FDR made efforts to integrate Facism into the Democratic Party.

The movie also mentions that the Democrats strongly opposed the civil rights movement, and the Republicans championed civil rights. The movie talks about how nobody talks about the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, a proponents of eugenics. She wanted to reduce and modify the human race.

D?Souza goes on to look at the characteristics of Facism. Trump and the Republicans have none of the characteristics, while the Democrats have most of them.

A surprising thing was the number of blacks and immigrants in the theater. They were speaking a variety of languages leaving the theater.

In case you are wondering about the title: Death of a Nation comes from a 1915 movie, Birth of a Nation. The original title for Death of a Nation was The Klansman, because it portrays the KKK in a favorable light. Though the movie was protest back then, the Democratic Party loved it and had a special showing in the White House.

Forgot to mention:

The Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA organizer has been on CNN and many other cable channels. Everyone asks him if he is a white supremacist. He admits he is. But, D?Sousa ask him more about his beliefs. He is a socialist with leanings toward the left and Democratic Party.

At least he is trying to do that.
