There are obvious problems with the security in this country. John Brennan is another bias person with access to secret documents he is able to access for his boss CNN. Rand Paul wants to change that.

The current situation is similar to Watergate, Illegal surveillance, but it is government agencies going after the President and not the President (I.E. Nixon) going after the opposition party.

Going After Brennan

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Another Fox job? Really?

Prolix Raconteur --- 6 years ago -

Sara Sanders said in today's press conference they were considering stripping Brennan, Comey, McCabe, Clapper, Susan Rice and others of their security clearance since they've all monetized their clearance and several have been proven to have leaked confidential information to the media.

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

I saw the press conference. Looks like it is becoming an important issue.

Is it a good policy to allow (all) CIA and FBI administrators to continue accessing confidential files while working for the media? That's incredibly stupid.

Also, people like Brennan and Comey (and pro-Trump people) should not bring up confidential information in their media jobs.

We Talk about Russia, Russia, Russia, and should focus on CIA, CIA, and FBI. These are the guys using confidential information.

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Another Fox job? Really?

Just one other point. Have you wonder why Fox is clobbering the other networks in the ratings? People believe them more than they do the fake news people.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Is there anyone saying that any person who leaves the government position still has access to classified, need to know materials?

Is anyone saying that classified materials have been shared with any inappropriate audience?

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Is anyone saying that classified materials have been shared with any inappropriate audience??

Comey just wrote a book about his time with the FBI. Should we redact his book?

There was a time when CIA and FBI retirees were professional and avoided politics.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Another Fox job? Really?

So what did Fox report that was inaccurate?

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Need I remind everyone that Comey (as an employee of the FBI) met with Trump, recorded notes on a government computer, and passed them on to reporters.

Comey probably will eventually be charged. But, he should not have government clearance.

Comey is hard for me to figure out. He could be delusional, stupid, or a megalomaniac. But whatever Comey suffers from, he should not have clearance.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Yes, they do.

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Comey passed along information from a meeting with President Trump to the news media.

Don't know why admitted it publicly.

Remember the old saying....He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

That was classified information?

Maybe somebody needs to remove President Carter's clearance. Obviously he used classified knowledge to author all those books about international policy.

Definitely Clinton's, and O'bama's, and Bush's (both).

LostWorld --- 6 years ago -

O'bama's

He isn't Irish.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

That was classified information?

Yes it was classified. Even a confidential classification is still a classification and there are ramifications if you leak it.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Nope, Bestie. Nothing confidential about a conversation unless designated.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

He isn't Irish.

Yup, you're right. My bad.

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Nope, Bestie. Nothing confidential about a conversation unless designated.

So, Comey can have a meeting with President Trump that is not open to the public, discuss government issues, and Comey can share it with news people afterwards.

That is pretty naive.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

No, Ray. It's true.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Just one other point. Have you wonder why Fox is clobbering the other networks in the ratings? People believe them more than they do the fake news people.?

Please don't confuse the left with facts. Besides since it doesn't fit their narrative they will ignore it.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Nope, Bestie. Nothing confidential about a conversation unless designated.?

How do you know it wasn't classified and that conversations with the President on business matters aren't automatically classified. Since you don't know one way or the other then it is only your opinion that the material wasn't classified. Besides Comey's notes WERE classified confidential...so you are wrong again.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

No, Ray. It's true.?

No, it isn't true!
He is not privy to what is or isn't classified. You need to be careful because the left will give their opinions as fact. He doesn't have a clue as what was classified or not.

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

the left will give their opinions as fact

I have noticed that.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

It's true. Classified information is designated.

No designation, no classification.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

No designation, no classification.

Wrong. Better go read the CFR.

Butterbean --- 6 years ago -

Sorry, Emp. Cite the statute, if one. Or regulation, if one. Cite the court case, if one.

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Comey messed up when he violated paragraph 3 of his employment agreement with the FBI.

It states that employees are prohibited from releasing any information acquired by virtue of official employment to unauthorized individuals without prior official written authorization by the FBI.

Paragraph 4 of the agreement requires FBI employees, prior to disclosing or publishing information acquired during their employment, to submit the information to FBI authorities for review to determine whether it is authorized for public release.

Of course Comey was fired for incompetence. Based on his actions he was pretty incompetent.

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Comey is not only sleazy, he is a stupid sleaze. He documented his actions in his book.

That's enough to take his security clearance!

Go do your own research, educate yourself. I charge for schooling people. Its not a statute its a CFR and its out there and easy to find.

You don't have a clue.

roer de pot --- 6 years ago -

Comey is not only sleazy, he is a stupid sleaze. He documented his actions in his book.

Republicans loved him when he was against Hillary. Now he's sleazy? Man, whiplash!

The Code of Federal Regulations is quite expansive. Cite the specific code, or go sit in the corner.

No designation, no classification.

Classified information has been designated as such.
So, you are absolutely correct.

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Go do your own research, educate yourself. I charge for schooling people. Its not a statute its a CFR and its out there and easy to find.

I did the research.

It's not rocket science, and it should be obvious that an FBI agent meets with the president, uses a government computer to document the meeting, passes the information to the media, and writes a book about what he did, BROKE THE LAW and (according to the law) can spend 10 years in jail.

Here it is.

Cornell Law Records Dealing With Comey Breaking Law

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

The phrase you should pay close attention to in the law is:

.......property made or being made under contract for the United States or any department or agency thereof;

This refers to Comey. Again, this is not rocket science.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 6 years ago -

Classified information has been designated as such.?

Absolutely incorrect.

OrdinaryGuy --- 6 years ago -

Oops...I think kswood (or whoever he/she really is) has TDS really bad. LOL

jackass --- 6 years ago -

Ben Shapiro did an interview with Joe Rogan last year and he breaks down comeys firing pretty well...

Also he gave my favorite quote about the Trump administration I?ve ever heard from a right winger...?I don?t attribute malevolence where I can attribute stupidity, that?s the Occam?s razor of the trump administration.?

RayofHope --- 6 years ago -

Ben Shapiro did an interview with Joe Rogan last year and he breaks down comeys firing pretty well...

I went back and watched it. It was interesting, but a little vulgar.
