POLL: O' Roarke vs Cruz for the senate

O' Roarke Vote

 39.4% (13)
Cruz Vote

 60.6% (20)
Butterbean --- 7 years ago -

I'm going to say yes to O'Roark.

I don't think the governorship or Lt Gov. are vulnerable. I think Cruz is.

Edited to add:

I don't think the State as a whole will change to bold blue; however, I think it will become pink. There's enough unrest to make it possible to have blue senators and lots of down ballot red turning blue.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 7 years ago -

I don't like Cruz, but I don't see a democrat winning against him- He got 90% of the votes in the primary, so I guess he's still popular with his constituents-

jackass --- 7 years ago -

Is that lying ted cruz?

Prolix Raconteur --- 7 years ago -

LOL that's the one. You can bet Trump will support him publicly in the mid-term election this Fall. Bygones being bygones and whatnot.

Miss Understanding --- 7 years ago -

It is after time for Cruz to cruise on out of here.

Joe Blow --- 7 years ago -

He got 90% of the votes in the primary,

BFD. More dems turned out in the Texas primary than they have in 16 years. A force to be reckoned with. Cruz is just a tea party douchie grampa muenster. LMFAO

Joe Blow --- 7 years ago -

Don't forget to read this. LMFAO

BFD is right LOL. Democrats still fell short of Republican turnout by a huge margin.

Dem - 940,000
Rep - 1.4 million

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 7 years ago -

Lol, busted. ;)

Gotta link to back up that stat PR? bc everyone is reporting a 3-1 dem turnout

OrdinaryGuy --- 7 years ago -

Not true...google and see!

Joe Blow --- 7 years ago -

Regarding those stats, it's all relative. Sorry to burst you bubble, Sag.

LMFAO

Joe Blow --- 7 years ago -

Not true...google and see!?

LMFAO Don't you know how this backwards state works? Counts in the primaries are stupid anyway because so many progressives cross over and vote against the pubies they hate like the Wall chickita.

LMFAO

Prolix Raconteur --- 7 years ago -

Since google am real hard, Mark, here's a link. You are right about one thing. Democrat turnout was double what it was last primary, but still a half million short of Republican turnout.

Rachel Madcow isn't "everyone", Mark.

Prolix Raconteur --- 7 years ago -

That's the worst bit of pretzel logic I've seen from Joe, and that's saying a lot. If democrats wanted a shoe-in for that seat their "operatives" (as you infer) would have voted for that idiot Kathleen Wall in droves. As it is, she got smoked. Why is this so hard for you?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 7 years ago -

I'm assuming that's a rhetorical question, Prolix- LOL!

LOL. Sorry facts don't fit into your agenda. It's like your trying to look lame on purpose. That's not possible is it??

LOL, indeed!

People love Cruz.

kingwood resident --- 7 years ago -

Cruz will win again. He is the best Senator in Congress and I support him 200%.

Just saw the debate. 28 mins and 28 seconds was my favorite part.

A single-payer Medicare-for-all program is the best way to ensure all Americans get the healthcare they need."

Anyone who wants to rape and pillage MEDICARE to provide healthcare to even non citizens, is not getting my vote. Medicare is NOT, and should Not, be a universal healthcare fund. They'll bankrupt it like they did with SS. It's for retired people. I'm not a Cruz fan but this guy is out there.

Absolutely right. When our hard earned money continues to go to illegals at the expense of those who put the money up in the first place, its time for a new American Revolution.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 6 years ago -

^^^THAT^^^^

Pretty simple concept.

Unfortunately, IDIOTS are allowed to vote!

jackass --- 6 years ago -

And they keep electing incumbents and keep crying about how we need to clean house in Washington DC...

I_won't_tell --- 6 years ago -

WE don't need/want this!!!

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

Sparky has already said he's not voting in the Cruz/O'Rourke race because he doesn't know that US senate races are statewide. That is why O'Rourke will lose.

sdanielmcev --- 6 years ago -

Unfortunately, IDIOTS are allowed to vote!
See above

SoupIsGoodFood --- 6 years ago -

LOL............. Another loss for the liberals. Another egg on Fuzzballs face.

Is he one of those that think senators represent certain areas of the state?

SoupIsGoodFood --- 6 years ago -

You actually didn't know this!!!!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

According to a previous post of his, yes.

txwareagle --- 6 years ago -

Someone who has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature would have to be outstanding to get my vote.
