Almost coughed up my rye Manhattan reading that the Secret Service has already spent $60K on golf cart rentals at Mar-a-lago this year alone.

Is it just me or can they maybe BUY their own golf cart instead of paying full retail rates each and every time the President golfs. Is this hard to figure out. Check Craig's list! 

How about Trump just pick up the tab for the SS golf carts at his own place -

It makes sense in some ways to buy carts, instead of rent, but then there will be storage, maintenance, and transporting to consider. I think we allow presidents to cause too much governmental expenditure. There should be some sort of limit.
Maybe the Secret Service should get a clue and try to spend the taxpayers money more wisely?

Trump is on his way to surpassing Obama's 8 yrs of vacation spending in one year...thats why the outrage (it's a mix of everyone's outrage, not just "the left"). Multiply Obama's total vacation expenses by probably 6 and that's what it'll amount to in 4 yrs if that sh*t heel doesn't resign first. Good pick...trump supporters are FAR worse than Obama supporters ever dreamed of being. Talk about the head in the sand.

I don't care who it is. There needs to be some common sense here. Just like adult children being protected by the secret service and having them go on every darn vacation with them. Ridiculous.


Ivanka and hubby go somewhere every month and take a whole slew of secret service with them. Same with Donnie Jr and the other guy, whats his name. The other daughter Tiffany just got back from a yacht trip off the coast of Italy and tour of Europe with her mother and her mother's gal pals and her boyfriend. Of course, several Secret service went too.

I think when they reach a certain age, say 21 or so, the siblings should not have protection, or at least use just one agent. With all the grand kids having guards too, it just gets out of hand.

And yes..good grief, can't Donald cut them a deal on the golf carts? He is profiting off this deal. I guess he charges full rack room rate for them too and orders top of the line menu and items for their meals. No wonder he goes there every weekend. Its keeping the place afloat. Its a business!
