Does anybody know when the Dimassi's off of 59 where Zio's used to be opens?

Good riddance to Zio's. Just read Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet menu. Looks good. We'll see. Not a fan of buffets. But if tended to to keep foods fresh and hot, they can be good.

Anyone been??

I'm not a fan of buffets either. My belt always hurts afterward.

I have a friend that really likes the food at Dimassi's. That's as good as I can personally vouch for.

I don't like watching people over eat at buffets like Golden Corral, eating as if they have to eat more than their money's worth. Or sitting through breakfat AND lunch Good Heavens! But I am a fan of Mediterranean foods. In general, it is healthy food. Guess I'd better give it a go soon!

I went today. Not impressed. Price out of range for quality. $15.99. Might as well go to souper salad.

And to top all that, they took out the bar.

I've never really had Mediterranean food. I'll give it a try. Is lunch any cheaper?

I was excited to try it, we did lunch on Friday. Almost 40.00 for three of us. The food was ok, nothing was spectacular. Every single meat they had was sitting on peppers and onions and all we could taste was the peppers and onions, very disappointed with that. I was very excited for the Baklava for dessert and it was bland, no real taste. The veggies was ok, but again every single one was smothered in peppers and onions. I like a little pepper and onion in some stuff but it was a lot in everything. The bread was good. My son liked the pizza. My hubby had the fried chicken (only thing without peppers and onions, lol) He was excited to try the rice pudding and he said it was bland and literally tasted like milk, sugar and rice......no pudding texture or taste..

We won't be going back. I enjoyed several items, but for that price we probably won't go back. We were all a little disappointed.

If you want Baklava or Greek food, try out Savvas Greek Cuisine and grill off of Atascocita road.

Love me some Savvas! I guess I will pass on Dimassi's. I read the reviews. Some people love it? Probably because it's all you can eat?
