Making a grocery list that will last for 2 weeks. When you go to the grocery store do you make yourself a grocery list? What do you usually put on your grocery list? Can you make me a sample grocery list?

Brewgirl --- 8 years ago -

I make a list every time. It saves money and helps me not buy impulse high calorie stuff. I've been going to Kroger foe so many years that I can write the list almost aisle by aisle. I work so much I have to be time efficient!

DVaz --- 8 years ago -

Well, I pretty much buy the same stuff every week and have no kids so it's quite easy for me. Don't shop hungry that's for sure.

I use Grocery IQ app. I'm always adding stuff to my list and always have it with me since it's on my phone. I've been using it for years.

Thank you Rubicon, that was what I was looking for.

LOL no kidding! I always seem to end up doing my shopping on an empty stomach and come home with all kinds of stuff I normally wouldn't buy. Brought home 3 different kinds of tamales last weekend from HEB and they were not even remotely on my mind when I made my list.

I never make a grocery list. I have a couple things in mind when I go, but generally walk up and down the aisles and pick up whatever looks interesting.

Jpgirl --- 8 years ago -

Back in the day when I only shopped once a month I made a list of everything I bought and put it on the computer. Then I'd check off the things I needed to buy, how much and if I had a coupon- I'd then print the list and away I'd go

Cheetos and wine and goose...all you need. Also, so easy no list required. But if you need a list to buy teepee paper you have issues no one here can assist you with.

What type of foods do you buy?

Chicken breasts, thighs, talapia, milk, eggs, bacon, lunch meat, bread, cheese, chips, ground beef, whole wheat pasta, beans, Chili Peppers, bananas, potatoes, and diet caffeine free soda.

I'll cook two of fajitas, spaghetti, or bean casserole, and eat for the entire week. Just steam a bag of vegetables each meal. Boring, but it's all a single guy into bodybuilding really needs.
