I had NO clue The Cure was playing here...jumped on tickets quick!

So excited - anyone else going?

Dorothy Parker --- 7 years ago -

Didn't know til seeing this thread! Very cool!

Valentine --- 7 years ago -

I knew they were coming. Tickets were sold out the day they went on sale. I'm hoping to find a good deal on last minute tickets. I hate going to shows at the football stadium, but they still put on a great show. I saw them a few years ago- they sound just like they did in the 80s.

steinhoister2016 --- 7 years ago -

I saw the cure for the first time in 1986 kiss me x3 tour, disintegration tour and wish tour...he's an amazing musician but it's high time to tone down the hair and make up....he's looking a little bizarre these days.

napoleon --- 7 years ago -

I wish I was going - should be a good concert.

Four Pinocchios --- 7 years ago -

I love The Cure! Back in 1989, I was listening to "Boys Don't Cry"

then suddenly.....

They are playing at Toyota Center. I got good seats, but I paid for them, for sure. It will be worth it.
I was actually looking for Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin tickets for my son, and got these for me instead lol

4P, ouch!!!!

Rubicon --- 7 years ago -

I LOVE The Cure! They are my all time favorite band!

Karras --- 7 years ago -

Robert Smith has really let himself go over the years.

a4204657uu --- 7 years ago -

I'm going, super excited!

DatBoyHooD --- 7 years ago -

All that ish A88 was talking about a 90s band and she's all moist over a 80s band lmao

a889324uu --- 7 years ago -

I LOVE The Cure! They are my all time favorite band!

My FAVORITE is/was The Ramones, and I was fortunate enough to see them when I was a teen when they played with Debbie Harry and Tom Tom Club at Cullen Center.
I saw NIN two years ago, and really the only singers I still need to see is Morrissey and Culture Club.

I used to work at Astroworld too, and saw all the awesome 80/90s bands - Depeche Mode, OMD, Information Society, New Order, Erasure, Escape Club. Good times!!

Is Depress Mode still touring?

Duran Duran played Cynthia Woods a couple weeks back. It was a great show.

AWESOME! I got to see the Erasure concert there, but would have loved to see all of those bands.

Can you believe you could go to Astroworld and see incredible concerts at the end of a day of playing in the park?! Those were the good ol days!

Everyone is showing their age. Lol

I was thinking the same I have not heard one song from any artist that Jams mentioned

With karras list besides cube and beastie boys I've heard def leppard and my dad was a big eagles fan but way before my born day

fuzz81 --- 7 years ago -

You're in your 30s, and you haven't heard of The cure, NIN, the ramones, depeche mode? Lol

DatBoyHooD --- 7 years ago -

They sure were!
I saw NIN a few years ago and he was great.

I wasn't a huge fan of Duran Duran, but everyone said it was a great show.

a889324uu --- 7 years ago -

What a great show!

Ranks right up there with my favorite concerts I've seen. Our seats were amazing.
The Toyota Center actually feels like an intimate setting - definitely cozier than the pavilion.

Up next - Jimmy Buffett, Weezer, and Culture Club!!

Dorothy Parker --- 7 years ago -

Glad you had a good time!!

Weezer would be a fun show.

Hiro Protagonist --- 7 years ago -

There is nothing worse than Jimmy Buffet.

them --- 7 years ago -

There is nothing worse than Jimmy Buffet.?

I like him!
He's a bit of a douche, however. Very picky and throws tantrums, and is very paranoid.

I used to work security at the Pavilion ;)

I saw him a few years ago, and it's a fun show.
