Are metal roofs allowed in Forest Cove? I know someone who is having one installed and I thought the H OA said only composite roof or the Spanish tile? They just recently bought the house and I'm not sure if they know of the HO a rules. I would just hate for them to be made to replace it after having the new one installed. 

Is it like a tin roof or is it metal shingles? You know, the kind that look like regular shingles. I personally do no think it should matter to the HOA. Metal roofs can only bring up the value of a neighborhood. 

It's light beige wide and long sheets, do not look like shingles, more like the slats on a garage door.....it does t bother me but I know someone else that could t because it was against HOA rules. Just hate to see him have trouble later

Like in my neighborhood and most others in Kingwood, they will not let a homeowner fence their front yard with an iron fence. The more expensive KW neighborhoods allow the front yards to be fenced and gated. I would love to fence my front yard and have a gate for the driveway and front walkway. 

I was in Forest Cove yesterday and noticed 2 houses with metal roofs. One was like sheets of metal and the other was metal shingles. They both looked great!

Me too... My neighbor has a gate across his driveway but it is even with his house.... I would live to have an iron gate, with a remote of course... 

A remote is a must!
