Bathroom faucet is dripping and I think the fixture is stripped. I don't want to be ripped off but also want someone who knows what they are doing.

Tub is old and fixture probably no longer made and will need replaced.

MAJOR expensive repairs, he came in and diagnosed a different problem and fixed it for less than 500 when the other repair was going to be thousands. I have had no issues since.

What a douchey comment.
There is huge price range in service companies, and no, it isn't a matter of "you get what you pay for". For one thing, it is pretty common knowledge that some places add on an automatic "upcharge" once the customer says they live in Kingwood. Ridiculous, but I have been informed of this more than once.

But if you think the term "reasonable" means cheap, then you must not be a very informed consumer. To most people it means fair and justified for the type of work done. Personally, I don't enjoy feeling like I have been ripped off, but whatever floats your boat, Mark.

Plumbing is one of those things that can vary widely. I have received leads on KU for my "reasonable" appliance repair man and my "reasonable" AC/heater man and my "reasonable" lawn guy.

Now with that out of the way, lol, I found this thread because I am also in need of an honest and reasonable plumber. I think I must have a seriously clogged drain.

Any other recommendations from KU for plumbers? 

I've used Alpha Omega and had good service.
