I used a steam mop with water only. Worked like a charm!

Damp mop with a vinegar/water solution cleans and deodorizes.

I had wood laminate years ago and water made the seams swell. That was why they didn't recommend it in bathrooms. I bought a special cleaner at Lowes. That was about 18 years ago, so I am sure things have changed.

Steam mops can warp laminate as well. They get too hot.

The chemical cleaners they sell don't work as well as a damp mop with a hot vinegar/water solution. Don't saturate the floor or leave standing water anywhere...ring the mop well before each use. The micro fiber mops work best for this. Avoid heavy cotton or sponge mops.

what DP says. We use a Dyson cordless vac as well

We used a steam mop on our laminate for 8 years and never had swelling. Guess it depends on the type.
