Since Kingwood people don't want people from Porter and New Caney in their neighborhood I wonder if Kingwood people will venture north!

I have never heard that people don't want folks from Porter and New Caney shopping or eating here. I think it is too bad when people have inferiority complexes over things so silly. 

I think it amazing how many people like to insult the people from Porter and New Caney. I see it on here a lot. I don't care where you're from, you will always have some that are poorly dressed, poor hygiene, poor grammar, don't have nice cars and homes. But so many judge others based on what their zip code is. 

It's all about to blow up with that new grand Texas dinosaur rv park coming... 

It's not that people in kingwood make a habit of saying they don't want Porter/new Caney people in their neighbor hoods it's more of an unspoken knowing....it's the looks that are given and the treatment they receive. I was in cvs in kw once with my mother who is 70 yrs old and the lady behind the counter skipped over my mom to serve the next person in line who happened to be younger and more attractively dressed, my mother isn't from Porter or new Caney but from the treatment she was given I gather the lady behind the counter must have thought she wasn't worthy of proper treatment..... I almost came unglued on the clerk!!!

That had nothing to do with Kingwood /Porter, That's just how society has gotten,no respect. 

I've ventured to the north many times.

I've found it to be a pleasant place, with friendly people.

Commercial development is practically guaranteed.

I think it is stretch to think that the poor service was because the clerk thought she was from Porter based on her appearance. It was rude to overlook her but I doubt it was for the way she looked. More likely just an incompetent and thoughtless employee.
