I will never give them business again. What ticks me off the most is he has been doing it for years!

hush --- 9 years ago -

Also a large right wing political sponsor. Shocking.

More shocking http://www.motherjones.com/mixed-media/2015/07/donald-trumps-kids-are-also-big-game-hunters

You know for some reason I can't find a prominent democrat that likes to trophy hunt. I guess they're too busy actually caring about the environment and other species than destroying things.

I don't like big game hunters and I'm a Republican.

But Hush you joined 11 hours ago and have been rude since that moment. I have a feeling you must have another account or have been on here before.

SagaciousSighFiGurl (Mod) --- 9 years ago -

Hunting is disgusting to me, unless you're starving.

I don't get enjoying the destruction of a beautiful animal. I never will.

So

The Big game animals this guys hunts roam free in the wild.

If you want to take up a worthy cause why don't you look into where the meat comes from that he sales on the food he makes.

nthaknow --- 9 years ago -

Butterbean --- 9 years ago -

Which part were u confused about?

No problem...

I've never eaten there, and after reading this, I won't start-

Jeff --- 9 years ago -

He is? That is terrific that he is reaching out and supporting that economy.

sheddy --- 9 years ago -

Better not look too closely in the the lives of any business owner. I'm sure they all do something we would disapprove of.

Dorothy Parker --- 9 years ago -

^^^ That's the truth.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 9 years ago -

I doubt most business owners would do something like this-

I've never understood the knee-jerk reactions to big game hunting... Or really any hunting.
I mean, take a look in the mirror. You see the two eyes on the same side of the head... Those are positioned that way to judge distance to our prey. Now take your tongue and feel around inside your mouth. You feel those sharp teeth... Those are there to tear flesh from bone.
We are predators... And predators hunt.
Now to Africa. Yes there are people who hunt lions and the local governments allow it.
You know why? The main reason is to bring tourism money into an impoverished area that otherwise wouldn't see much money. The secondary reason is rid areas of dangerous animals. More lions are allowed to be hunted in areas where lion attacks on humans have been increasing (the main reason for the attacks is due lion population increasing and their food source becoming more scarce due to the lion population increase) And only males are allowed to be hunted. Hunting females is banned.
The tertiary reason to provide food for the local population. The vast majority of the meat must go to the local people by law.
So let's recap...
A hunter comes in, kills an animal likely to attack humans because they are starving, by doing this... The hunter is also keeping the lion population (as a whole) healthier. The money and meat from the hunt help feed, clothe, and build shelter for the people and schools for children.
The knee-jerk reaction crowd's extremely short-sighted solution... Don't kill the lions.
Ok, let's humor that for a minute. What then?
The lion population explodes, we see more attacks on humans as they begin to starve. The poplulations of all the other animals are more quickly dwindling now and this becomes an exponentially rising trend as they are the primary food-source for this now out-of-control lion population.
Then disease sets in. Now we have a huge population of starving and diseased lions attacking humans.
Of course the humans are also more vulnerable now also because they lost a major source of cash used to build shelter.
My advice... Just chill. Nobody's forcing you to go hunt big-game. You can certainly be appalled by hunting if you want, but try to understand that hunting is necessary to keep both people and animal populations healthy.

Or... Come up with a VIABLE alternative solution (screaming "don't hunt..." Is not a viable solution) and I may actually get behind it. But for now... Hunting is all we have to keep things in balance.

Canned hunts of park animals doesn't have a whole lot to do with regular hunting. I, personally find any type of hunting sickening, but I don't consider the average hunter to be a monster. This man is-

Slider, if we were the predators you think we are because of our eyes and teeth, why do we need bows and guns?

Ridiculous.

Likewise for the birdbrain

Slider, if we were the predators you think we are because of our eyes and teeth, why do we need bows and guns?

Why do we need hoes, rakes and shovels to garden? We don't? Oh, it just makes it easier, just like using a bow or gun to kill a lion.

RedMulch --- 9 years ago -

Is that how they deliver so "freaky fast"?

Come on peeps...lots of people are big game hunters. But they follow the rules. God gave us dominion over them and the fowl, but usually we don't kill them unless we eat them. Now...you can't eat a head, so sometimes you have it mounted. (deer peeps)

Cecil was protected. He was against the rules, and that jerk is getting what he deserves.
