I have a couple of teenagers who are interested in becoming life guards this summer.

Does anybody know how they can go about it? I know that they need certificates, but I am not sure where/how to get them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

Have you tried the Y? They have had classes in the past.

Check out the website for Crystal Pool Services. My son lifeguarded for them for 4 years. I believe they still provide services for most of the KW pools. Certification is a little expensive, but it's good for 3 years. He even lifeguarded at college during his freshman year. Lifeguards seem to always be in demand.

They started interviewing back in February and took the lifeguard course over Spring Break. Not sure if they're still hiring. I would contact the different pool companies right away.
