Please come to the next HOA meeting to discuss the pool hours for the 2015 pool season. The meeting is the 4th Tuesday in May at 7pm in the Meeting room behind the pool.

I would personally like to see the pool open earlier at least a few days so that families with little ones or people who ca't be in full sun or heat to enjoy swimming in the morning before it gets too hot. Our family used to swim from 10am until lunch time and then head home for naps and come back in the evening around 7 and swim until 8:30 or 9PM. Now the pool closes earlier then it used to and opens later with an entire day off for cleaning. I would love to have our pool more accessible by all of our residents. I miss the good old days!

There will be an opportunity to address the pool hours at the monthly meeting and we need to hear from you our Trailwood residents. Please note that starting June 14th, pool tags will be required to use the pool facilities..
Tags can be picked up at the pool on the following dates:
May 17 (Sunday) 12pm - 6pm
May 19 (Tuesday) 4pm - 7pm
June 6 (Saturday) 12pm - 6pm
Identification (such as drivers license) will be required when picking up tags.

Those hours are pretty bad. You can always use other village pools if they don't change them. The pools all have different days that they are closed for maintainance too so there is always a pool open . Not as convenient but sometimes fun to try different neighborhoods. 

Trail wood needs to dump crystal pools management and go with Jeff Ellis management. JEM manages Bear Branch, Hunter's Ridge, and others. Neither BB or HR have a pool closure day for cleaning. Nor do they do adult swim each hour. The BB pool is open 10-8, 11 on Sundays. HR is 11-8 and 12 on Sundays. 

I wish TV Pool would add some "real" steps to get out of the pool, instead of the latter, esp. for our senior and "handicapped" residents. 

Back in the 90s I was a lifeguard at a pool with hours 1000-2000. I wish KW pools had that schedule. I go to the Elm Grove and Sherwood Trail pools. 

It's not Crystal Pools who sets the hours it's the board. The board sets a budget for the pool and it sounds like they didn't budget budget for 7 days a week.

Steps have been put into the pool to make it easy to get in and out.

Huh? If you look at the list of area pools hours, Trailwood seems to be in line with all the others. 

So how did the meeting go? Was there a large turnout and will the pool hours be changed? 

Karenact, you never did let us know the result of your HOA meeting. Were you able to get the hours adjusted? Were they even willing to listen to your request?
