For example, I was born in the 70's. But I think I should have been born earlier so that I could have lived as a teenager - early 20's in the 1970's.

Absolutely!!! I happen to have been born at the perfect time in history but I know several people who would better fit in other generational settings IMO.

I read this book about a woman who helped African Americans find safety. I would have liked to help people in the underground railroad. I would have loved to have helped the children. That is my reason for wanting to live through that time period. Plus, I didn't say that I thought it was "cool." I just wish I could have helped people in that era. 

But this thread isn't about me. I was asking you all. Is there a period of time that you wish you could have lived through?

I must agree with you. God had me born in this time period for a reason. I am surrounded by the most wonderful people (my family) and if I wasn't here, right here, and right now, I wouldn't have them. :-) 

Yes I felt like I should've been a teen either in the 50's or the 90's- I love the fashion,music of both eras. Lol I like today's music too. I'd love to go to a Rave!! I was a teen in the 70's- it was good but I was not into the disco BS- tho I did go and dance at the discos

A future era is my preference. The era of printing human organs with 3-D printers will be something to look forward to, as will viable treatments for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and various cancers. I want to see how long humans can extend our lives.

I also want to experience life outside of Earth and get laid in zero gravity.
