Does anyone know of a cell phone repair place in the Kingwood area?

Bump...

It's my daughters phone that I bought as a refurb, and so it's no longer under warranty. Any help is appreciated.

I need a screen repair, too!

I just bumped a thread about a place out in the area.

There is a guy on 494, Kind of behind El Ranchero who repairs all electronics. It is right next to The One Stop. He is only open from about 12 - 8.

My daughter ordered a screen online for $16 and a guy in her office put it in. It came with what she needed to fix it, but she had him do it, since he had replaced his. You can watch a video on you tube. I think even I could do it.

Unfortunately her camera won't work anymore and it won't charge. I'm afraid it's going to be expensive if we chose to fix it. She may be stuck w/her old phone otherwise.

Sometimes it is the charger that need to be replaced.

You can get the screen off of eBay for a few bucks and watch a tutorial on you tube and do it yourself. Much cheaper!

We used this place today. Fixed the iPhone in 10mjns, very reasonable.

I ended up finding out I had a Best Buy warranty on my Note 3. I had gotten it for Christmas and didn't know they added the insurance. Well, BB insurance isn't what it used to be! It cost $160 to replace the LCD even with insurance. I have an S3 that I had previously with BB insurance and everything was covered. they said so many people would crack the screen just to get a new phone that they had to change the insurance. He even said it might have been less without the warranty. He ordered me a new battery for the S3 because it was free and if I drop the Note 3, I will just go back to using it but I really missed the Note abilities.
