I am a big fan of Criminal Minds. Does the FBI not have "real" profilers who should be looking at these cases for a common denominator? Granted, these girls could all be runaways, but a lot of precious time is being lost with just the local police trying to handle it. They need some bigger guns involved! JMO

Lilteapot --- 4 years ago -

And they are still at "runaway" status!!! F*$#@&!! outrageous!

Lilteapot --- 4 years ago -

I hope someone steps in soon Mary, and takes over this investigation. Now that it is starting to get national coverage, hopefully they will work this case harder, as it should have been worked day ONE!

Yosamitesa --- 4 years ago -

Has Texas Equisearch joined in the search yet? I haven't seen them...

Pumpkin --- 4 years ago -

I agree, there are too many missing right now and that something more needs to be done. Maybe now that NG is on the story something WILL happen and get these peoples BOOTY in gear.

JusticeForAll --- 4 years ago -

( Hey JFA, your on this video! )  What a flattering photo! LOL! See Alli? You're not the only one who looks bad in pictures! Seriously though, the more attention this case gets, (and all the cases for these girls) the easier it will be to solve them. I can't believe there are 7 girls missing within 2 weeks! WTH is going on?!?! and they think they ALL ran away? :(

~ MARY C ~ --- 4 years ago -

I am assuming that all of the police departments are communicating and already looking for a common denominator, but I am getting the feeling that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The girls are from different areas and may not be connected at all, but still, precious time is being lost. If it happens that they are not runaways, and kidnapped instead, each day lessens the chances of them being found alive.

~sassy~ --- 4 years ago -

Monza how'd you do that?

Meme2my5 --- 4 years ago -

That's a lot of girls missing at around the same time, near each other. Where is the FBI? All of these girls did not runaway. The more time the police let slip away, the harder it becomes to find them. Terrible for the police to be classifying them as all runaways.

Chasity Armstrong info

Wanda~more~ --- 4 years ago -

Yesterday was National Missing Childrens Day...did anyone know or even hear anything about it? Kudos to you Lilteapot & those who are raising awareness!

Jordan Johnson info

Meme2my5 --- 4 years ago -

I don't understand why this is not all over the media. We have all these girls missing, and we don't hear much on the news about it. If someone is kidnapping these girls, he or they aren't going to stop as long as the police are classifying them as runaways.

Lilteapot --- 4 years ago -

Vanessa Cisneros This Teen is actually listed as "missing" (different police department)

Meme2my5 --- 4 years ago -

Have they put their pics up on billboards in Spring to get this info out to everyone?

Wildcat --- 4 years ago -

We have all these girls missing, and we don't hear much on the news about it. Exactly...something needs to change!

JusticeForAll --- 4 years ago -

If you google these girls names, you don't even find a story besides the link on the Laura Recovery Center's website! How frustrating for the families that their girls are getting NO MEDIA COVERAGE! Why is it that SEVEN girls had to go missing before anyone heard of any of these cases???? so upsetting!!!

POTUS --- 4 years ago -

Tell the hundreds of girls that actually DO run away to come back home so the police can figure out who REALLY needs to be investigated. The problem is that some of these idiot parents don't want to admit to authorities that their children ran away. Or they "forget" to leave out details like the 28 year old boyfriend, or the drug/physical abuse. Everyone likes to play the victim and get attention when their kid makes a break for it.

gumbeauxgirl --- 4 years ago -

And they are still at "runaway" status!!! I think the only way to change this is to raise awareness and get the laws changed.

JusticeForAll --- 4 years ago -

Everyone likes to play the victim and get attention when their kid makes a break for it. Until you have kids, you have NO IDEA of the pain these families are in, or the fear every parent has at the thought of something happening to their child. Your comment is so incredibly insensitive, I don't even know what to say to you... keep your as*shole comments to the other threads and leave this one alone.

JusticeForAll --- 4 years ago -

Has Texas Equisearch joined in the search yet? I haven't seen them... I don't think they have...I'm not sure what their criteria is before they join a case...

No. I was clearly addressing the parents of children who have run away for LEGITIMATE reasons, and who go on to misreport the real facts to the police. That's why you see this pile of missing persons, and no one knows which ones got out of a bad situation and which ones were actually kidnapped. Take your pick of a bad neighborhood and do a door-to-door, ask those parents how many of their kids have pulled a disappearing act for days or weeks at a time and you will see what I mean. Your comment was so incredibly close-minded that I knew exactly what to say to you.

Your comment was so incredibly close-minded that I knew exactly what to say to you.  except that unlike you, I actually have children so, even if I thought the way you did, I'd have more sense than to post that opinion on a thread dedicated to finding missing children!

Niki --- 4 years ago -

This is unbelieveable!!! It breaks my heart!!! I can't believe this many girls are missing in and around Houston and its suburbs!!

POTUS --- 4 years ago -

except that unlike you, I actually have children so, even if I thought the way you did, I'd have more sense than to post that opinion on a thread dedicated to finding missing children! I'm just trying to be realistic and explain WHY every missing child report doesn't end up on the news! And the whole "you-dont-have-kids" defense is completely invalid. That is not a logical argument.

Wildcat --- 4 years ago -

I found this on KU...216 days ago, but still it shows that it can be directly in our backyards just as easily as anywhere else. A Kingwood Middle School student has reported to Houston Police that two men attempted to kidnap him while he was walking to school Wednesday morning. The student told police that he was on the greenbelt in Woodland Hills around 8:15 a.m. when two men driving on Lake Hills Drive stopped their vehicle, approached the student, and attempted to force him into the car at knifepoint. The student managed to run away and call a parent, who notified police. The student described the men as white and in their early to mid 20s. The vehicle was described as a dark, four-door car. The incident is under investigation by Houston Police. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Houston Police Juvenile Division at 713-731-5335.

silvergal --- 4 years ago -

I was clearly addressing the parents of children who have run away for LEGITIMATE reasons, and who go on to misreport the real facts to the police. That's why you see this pile of missing persons, and no one knows which ones got out of a bad situation and which ones were actually kidnapped. Regardless of why these children went missing, they need to be found. Then the underlying problems can be addressed, if they have run away. Kids are very vulnerable, if they are on the streets as runaways, they can become victims of all kinds of abuse. It doesnt matter if the parents "enjoy being a victim." Thats entirely unrelated to the fact that no one knows for sure where these young girls are. They need to be found. And I think our laws on this issue are antiquated. The movie "Changeling" took place in the 1920s, and was almost the same scenario. Police didnt start looking until a day had passed, and often, that makes it too late. I dont understand why it makes a difference if they are suspected runaways. The streets are not safe. Whether they are runaways or kidnapped, they need to be found. Wherever they are, children who are unaccounted for, are not safe.

Lilteapot --- 4 years ago -

Wow Potus, I cant believe how ignorant your posts are. What proof do you have to state these are runaways? Have you READ the reports on these girls? Have you seen how long they have been missing? Your right, there are many teens that are runaways, BUT they are found quickly, there are obvious signs to assume they are, and they are normally in touch with at least one friend. In the case of Jordan Johnson, this is the ONLY case where the mom actually was led to believe her daughter may be a runaway, however as time has passed it is becoming more and more apparent that is not the case. I do understand a lot of teens runaway, but that does not mean they are not in harms way, and they should be found asap to keep them safe BEFORE they get into a dangerous situation. Also, dont ASSume they are runaways from he get go, every child deserves the effort and time to make sure. IF you are a parent, this is your worse nightmare, if your not, you have no possible way of knowing the anguish you will feel if indeed your child does not come home one day. The hours and days, and weeks, and months of anguish.

Felechia Goodman - Cleveland area, Texas last seen May 16, 2010 Felechia (or someone using her login info) signed into myspace yesterday & I just checked today and she has signed in today as well. Her profile is set to private, so I cannot see what, if anything she posted. I'm not sure if I should report this to someone within LE or not and if so, who?!

POTUS --- 4 years ago -

Wow, I don't even know why I'm even responding when people obviously aren't READING and using critical thinking to understand the point that I am making: I am EXPLAINING WHY you don't see EVERY SINGLE MISSING GIRL reported on the news. It is BECAUSE OF THE LARGE NUMBER OF RUNAWAYS and the inability of the police department to distinguish these cases. YES, anyone missing needs to be found. But I was explaining WHY none of these girls are on Nancy Grace or the local news everyday. Got it?
