"Pershing's Last Patriot" film screening

Friday evening, May 16th at 7pm the public is invited to a wonderful patriotic and history filled documentary at the KHS Auditorium. There is a suggested $5.00 donation for tickets at the door or presales during school hours at Creekwood Middle School.
Photographer and filmmaker, David DeJonge returns to Kingwood to bring the 100 year story of Frank Buckles, last surviving American WWI doughboy and WWII prisoner-of-war, to us. In 2008-9 we welcomed his exhibit to support a national WWI Memorial in DC. Those are the veterans who have not been celebrated for their sacrifices and their fight in the 'Great War'. If you're one who loves history and supports our veterans please join us Friday evening the 16th of May.
