We found a sweet dog wandering on Farrel Road near Aldine-Westfield in Houston on Friday night May 6th. It looks like she was dumped there. It’s a secluded rural road west of the airport. I noticed several dogs in the area that seem to have gone feral. This dog looked desperate. She was so scared and hungry she could hardly walk. My son already had his around her when I went to pick him up from his job. It was boy AND dog, or neither (he is a former VAP volunteer). So – she had to go home with us.

She has been to the vet and checks out OK, but no chip. She’s had a flea treatment and bath. After a couple of days of food and rest she’s finally on her feet and wagging her tail away. She is a very gentle and sweet dog. She readily licks my hand and puts her paw in my hand seeming to say” thanks”. We can’t keep her in our little yard with the dog we already have. She deserves a kind and loving family. I will pay for her neutering and get her worm treatment before adoption. I reserve final decisison on who gets to adopt her. Contact me at 713-252-5089
