I am a SEVENTY ONE year old retired corporate pilot. I flew for an oil company...the Good Lord knew we would need oil, so He put it in the most inhospitable places in the world (jungles, deserts, arctic regions). So...I spent a lot of time freezing, very hot or sweating. That said I had a lot of fun, saw a lot of the world and have an undying appreciation for being born an American. Now I (we) split time between Kingwood and Onalaska, fishing and our grandkids. I have also take up writing, all those travels made for some great story lines and photography. My last attempt at photography was back in the 35mm days and the new DSLR cameras are a real revelation!

Is a generator really necessary? While I must say we were blessed with cool weather (a mitigating factor for sure)…we really didn’t need a generator. My wife, a great planner, had frozen big blocks...
